Making the Connections: Financially Healthy Congregations

The theme for the Fall Leadership Conference is the fiscal health of our congregations and district. We’re going to be talking about money and its role in UU congregations, how to generate funds for the programs we love, and how to nurture healthy attitudes toward money.

Some of the workshops will include the following:
• Dot Your “I’s” and Cross Your Fingers: Proposal Making and Grant Writing Made Easy
• Effective Canvassing
• Endowment Planning for Growing Congregations: An Interactive Workshop
• Fiscally Healthy Congregations: Meaning and Means
• New Professional Development Opportunities for Religious Educators
• The Revolving Door of RE Leadership
• What is a Fair Compensation Congregation?
