Lending LibrariesThe T. J. District is fortunate to have two fine libraries: Each library is available to all member congregations of the district,
and there is no cost for either save for return postage.
About the lending library (How to order) Information About the Lending LibraryWhat is the T.J. district lending library? So far, it’s a very small collection of books and tapes selected by the members of the committee on subjects we hope will be of interest to all our congregations: large, small or just getting started. We began with books from the UUA Bookstore that were recommended by our committee members and we intend to enlarge our collection with additional such titles. We’d love to hear from you or any member of your congregation if you know of other pertinent titles that should be in our Library. In addition, donations of funds or appropriate books will be gratefully accepted. Why was it started? We view the Library as part of our Extension Committee activities, like Chalice Lighters and various training opportunities, as another way to help support our congregations and to help them grow. Any committee chair, congregation librarian, or professional staff may borrow titles. What are the conditions of the loan?
How can we order a book?
